Annie's Homegrown Re-brand and Re-Package

Updating & Innovating
eco-friendly, sustainable, sophisticated and other buzzwords
As we move forward in our ability to manufacture sustainably, it is important that those who built their companies on ideas of eco-credits, bio-degradable packaging and reduction of waste continue to pioneer and innovate. I choose to embrace Annie's Homegrown products because of their grassroots beginnings, but also because Annie's has a lot of potential to not only bring their products into new homes, but reduce their environmental impact/carbon footprint.

My design is based around the strength of Annie's Homegrown product quality, often choosing to showcase that instead of some attention grabbing schema. Also, the revised design is more sophisticated, appealing to a less juvenile customer, while still having the whole grains and green practices that parents choose for their children.

Incorporating smaller packages, bio-plastics, vegetable inks and 100% post-consumer recycled paper along with glass, the highest integrity recyclable material, I present a system of nine packages.
An orchre colored band indicates a "Gluten Free" product, while a brick-colored bar means "All Natural," and a brown-colored bar means "Organic."
